Signing in, your account and switching roles
Sign in with your username or email, change a temporary password, and switch between your roles.
Signing in
Sign in with your username or your email address, and your password. Both work on the same sign-in form.
Accounts created by AeroESP administrators
Some accounts are created by AeroESP administrators, sometimes without an email address. You receive a username and a temporary password. At your first sign-in you must choose a new password before you can continue; the site takes you to the password page automatically.
Adding or changing your email
Open Account Center and use the email field in "Sign-in & security". An email address lets you reset a forgotten password yourself. Without one, ask AeroESP administrators to reset it.
Forgotten password
On the sign-in page choose "Forgot password?", then enter your username or your email. If the account has an email address, a reset link is sent there. If it has none, the page tells you to contact AeroESP administrators.
Switching roles
If your account holds more than one role - for example Teacher and Expert Reviewer - the role switcher sits in the sidebar. Choose a role and you are taken to its dashboard; the sidebar then shows that role's pages. Opening a page that belongs to another role you hold switches to that role automatically.
Account Center
Account Center holds your profile, notifications, avatar, theme and accent colour, text size, time zone and sign-in settings. Each card saves on its own.
